concept and books... rooms have touching stories. I liked the Octagon and appreciated the picture of President Kennedy that I moved from the inside of the small closet on the window...
We couldn't eat there... no possibility to make or eat breakfast...

The hotel is conveniently located in the center of Dupont Circle, just steps away from the metro station. The proximity to the nation's capitol makes it an ideal choice for exploring the city. The rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, with modern amenities and spacious bathrooms. The service is top-notch, with attentive staff who go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The breakfast spread is delicious and offers a variety of options to suit every taste. Guests can also enjoy the unique feature of hidden doors throughout the hotel, adding a sense of adventure to their stay.
One downside is the lack of specific historical artifacts related to Washington DC, which may disappoint those seeking a more immersive cultural experience.

The decor is a unique mix of high-end art and kitsch. The room has a sunroof and stained glass. Loved the bold green and yellow painted walls. The abundance of memorabilia is astounding. Central location, close to metro and attractions.

Friendly owners, outrageously decorated place, freedom to explore, close to museums and restaurants, close to metro, seemed like staying at a rich eccentric friend's house.
Nothing, all was good.
